Hamed Kavianpour
Hamed Kavianpour ( fa, حامد کاویانپور, born December 1, 1978) is an Iranian retired professional football player. Club career He has played most of his career for Persepolis FC where he had several good seasons, playing in the midfield with his great skill and dribbling. His critics however claim his dribbling delays the speed of the game. During 2001 and 2002 some English clubs showed interest in him and he had trials with clubs such as Bolton Wanderers, Ipswich Town F.C., Newcastle United F.C., and Reading F.C., but Persepolis preferred that he sign a one-year contract with UAE club Al Wasl in July 2002. In May 2006 he signed a two-year contract to play for Turkish club Kayserispor in Süper Lig. On September 22, 2006 the Turkish club announced that they will release the Iranian midfielder as he was allegedly tested positive for doping after the match against Erciyesspor. Tehran

Azadegan League
The Azadegan League ( fa, ليگ آزادگان, ''Lig-e Âzâdegân''), also known as League 1 ( fa, لیگ یک, ''Lig-e Yek''), is the second highest division of professional football in Iran. It was the top-level football league in Iran from its foundation in 1991 until 2001, when the Persian Gulf Pro League was established. Each year, the top finishing teams in the Azadegan League are promoted to the Persian Gulf Pro League, and the lowest finishing teams are relegated to League 2. Since 2016, the league comprises 18 teams. The winner and the runner-up of the Azadegan League are automatically promoted to the Persian Gulf Pro League. The Asian Football Confederation is the governing body of association football, beach soccer, and futsal in some countries/territories in Asia and Oceania. Hazfi Cup
Hazfi Cup (Jām-e Hazfi; ) is the Iranian football knockout cup competition, run by the Iranian Football Federation. The Iranian football league was not held during the 1980s, hence the winner of Hazfi Cup represented Iran in the Asian Club Championship. After the revive of the league system, the champion of Iranian league qualified for Asian Club Championship and the winner of Hazfi Cup ran for Asian Cup Winners' Cup. However, the Asian Cup Winners' Cup merged with the Asian Champions Cup in 2002–03 to form the AFC Champions League and Iran had been initially given two (and later four) slots in this competitions. The IRIFF decided to award one of Iran's AFC Champions League spots to the winner of the Hazfi Cup, and since then, the winners of Hazfi Cup have always been allocated a spot in the AFC Champions League. Ferydoon Zandi
Ferydoon Zandi (born 26 April 1979) is an Iranian retired professional footballer. Early life Zandi was born in the city of Emden, in northern Germany, to an Iranian father and a German mother. He speaks German and Persian. He started playing football at an early age when his talent shone through his playing for a number of youth clubs in and near his hometown. Club career Germany Zandi was called up for the Germany under-17 national football team and played for SV Meppen before being signed by SC Freiburg. Ali Karimi (footballer, Born 1978)
Mohammad Ali Karimi Pashaki ( fa, علی کریمی ; born 8 November 1978) is an Iranian football coach and former player. During his professional football career, he has played in the Iran Pro League, UAE Pro League, Qatar Stars League and Bundesliga. Karimi has scored 38 goals in 127 matches for the Iran national team. In 2004, he was recognized as the best scorer of the AFC Asian Cup and received the Asian Footballer of the Year award in the same year. He announced his retirement at the end of the 2013–14 season and, on 11 April 2014, played the final game of his 18-year career. Karimi's professional career began with Fath Tehran, where he made his first-team debut in 1996 aged 18.
