Hall, Gotland
Hall is a populated area, a socken (not to be confused with parish), on the Swedish island of Gotland. It comprises the same area as the administrative Hall District, established on 1January 2016. Geography Hall is situated on the north coast of Gotland. The medieval Hall Church is located in the socken. On the coast is also Hallshuk, sometimes called Hall, fishing village with the Hallshuk Chapel, built by Queen Christina in 1645, to be used by the fishermen working in the area. , Hall Church and Hallshuk Chapel belongs to Forsa parish in Norra Gotlands pastorat, along with the churches in Lärbro, Hellvi and Hangvar. Hellvi
Hellvi is a populated area, a socken (not to be confused with parish), on the Swedish island of Gotland. It comprises the same area as the administrative Hellvi District, established on 1January 2016. A Roman bronze mask from the 1st century has been found in Hellvi. Geography Hellvi is situated in the east coast of northern of Gotland. The socken has a long coastline with several bays and islands. It comprises most of Lake Fardume (''Fardume Träsk'') along with Storholmen island in the middle of the lake. The St Olofsholm peninsula makes up the south tip of Hellvi. Just west of the peninsula are Ytterholmen and Hojskär islands. Hellvi has seven nature reserves: Lörgeudd, Malms-Kyllaj, St Olofsholm, Sajgs, Ytterholmen, Storholmen and Träskvidar. Lärbro () is a locality on the Swedish island of Gotland, with 963 inhabitants in 2014. Lärbro is also the name of the larger populated area, ''socken'' (not to be confused with parish). Hall Church, Gotland
Hall Church ( sv, Halls kyrka) is a 13th-century church in Hall on the Swedish island of Gotland, built in a transitional style between Romanesque and Gothic. Is lies in the Diocese of Visby. History and architecture Hall Church dates in its entirety from the 13th century. Oldest are the nave and choir, built in the second quarter of the century. The tower is somewhat later. Stylistically it is transitional between Romanesque and Gothic architecture. Inside, the church is decorated with murals that were uncovered during a renovation in 1956.
