Halil Tikveša
Halil Tikveša (born in 1935) is a contemporary Bosnian visual artist. Tikveša graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade, Serbia in 1961. From 1976 to 2000 Tikveša lectured on graphics/painting at the Novi Sad Art Academy. Several of his works are part of the permanent collection of the National Gallery of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo. Beginning from 1962 he was drawing paintings, graphics, engravings, collages and objects. His paintings were exposed more than 60 times in his personal exhibitions. University Of Arts In Belgrade
The University of Arts in Belgrade ( sr-cyr, Универзитет уметности у Београду, Univerzitet umetnosti u Beogradu) is a public university in Serbia. It was founded in 1957 as the Academy of Arts to unite four academies. It became a university and acquired its current name in 1973. History The University of Arts was established on 10 June 1957, as the Academy of Arts, a union of the existing higher art schools (academies). National Gallery Of Bosnia And Herzegovina
The National Gallery of Bosnia and Herzegovina ( Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian: ''Umjetnička galerija Bosne i Hercegovine'' / Умјетинчка галерија Босне и Херцеговине) is a national gallery of art in Bosnia and Herzegovina, located in Sarajevo. The gallery was established on October 11, 1946, and contains over 6000 pieces of art. Its main focus are the works of Bosnian and Herzegovinian interest. The gallery was open and held exhibitions during the whole period of the siege of Sarajevo and the Bosnian war in 1992-1995. However, afterwards it received considerably less funding due to the failure of the government of Bosnia and Herzegovina to recognize the gallery as a national institution. The National Gallery of Bosnia and Herzegovina was closed in September 2011 for almost a year because the gallery was unable to appoint a new director. Blace is a small village in Croatia. The village is located in a small bay in the southern side of Neretva Delta Neretva Delta is the river delta of the Neretva, a river that flows through Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia and empties in the Adriatic Sea.
