Haki Demolli
Haki Demolli (born February 17, 1963) is a Kosovo Albanian politician, lawyer, and professor. He served as the Minister of the Kosovo Security Force from 2014 to 2017 and as Kosovo's Minister of Justice in 2010. Early life Haki Demolli was born in Prishtina, Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia on 17 February 1963. In 1985, Demolli graduated from the University of Prishtina Faculty of Law. From 1986 to 1987, Demolli interned at the Prishtina District Court. In 1978, Demolli began lecturing at the University of Prishtina Faculty of Law. He continues to lecture there today. From September 1999 to April 2003, Demolli lectured at the Kosovo Police Service School (now the Kosovo Centre for Public Safety Education and Development) in Vushtrria. From 2000 to 2008, Demolli was the vice president of the Football Federation of Kosovo. In 2001, Demolli a doctorate from the University of Prishtina Faculty of Law. Vushtrria
Vushtrri ( sq-definite, Vushtrria) or Vučitrn ( sr-Cyrl, Вучитрн), is a city and municipality located in the Mitrovica District in northern Kosovo. According to the 2011 census, the town of Vushtrri has 26,964 inhabitants, while the municipality has 69,870 inhabitants. Vushtrri is surrounded by the city of Mitrovica to the north, Podujeva in the east, Obiliq in the south, Drenas in the south-west, and Skënderaj in the west. The municipality of Vushtrri has 67 villages. In antiquity, Vushtrri may have been known as Viciana. When the Roman Empire invaded Dardania in the 1st century BC, the Romans added the Latin suffix 'um' to the name of Viciana, therefore becoming Vicianum. The Albanians of Kosovo ( sq, Shqiptarët e Kosovës, ), also commonly called Kosovo Albanians, Kosovar/Kosovan Albanians or Kosovars/Kosovans, constitute the largest ethnic group in Kosovo. Kosovo Force
The Kosovo Force (KFOR) is a North Atlantic Treaty Organization, NATO-led international NATO peacekeeping, peacekeeping force in Kosovo. Its operations are gradually reducing until Kosovo Security Force, Kosovo's Security Force, established in 2009, becomes self sufficient. KFOR entered Kosovo on 11 June 1999, two days after the adoption of UN Security Council Resolution 1244. 2010 Kosovan Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Kosovo on 12 December 2010, following a vote of no-confidence in the government that brought forward the election. Those were the first elections after the country declared independence. The Democratic Party of Kosovo (DPK) of incumbent Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi won a plurality amidst controversies and a partial re-poll, while he was still in the process of trying to form a government. The election was seriously hampered by a number of irregularities and election fraud; and a second poll was held on 9 January 2011 at 21 voting stations in 5 municipalities.
