Hakeme Yazid Said
Muhammad Hakeme Yazid bin Said (born 8 February 2003) is a Bruneian professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Forward (association football), forward for Singapore Premier League club DPMM FC and the Brunei national football team, Brunei national team. The youngest brother of Brunei's record goalscorer Shah Razen Said, he scored on his professional league debut in 2019 at the age of 16. Club career DPMM Once a student of Rimba II Secondary School, Hakeme followed his brothers' footsteps (List of association football families#Brunei, eight of them) into football from the age of 13, playing for Tabuan Muda, Tabuan A in youth tournaments around Brunei. His side went on to achieve the double in 2017, becoming league champions and cup winners. They were then invited to participate in the 2017–18 Brunei FA Cup where they managed to reach the quarterfinals, faring better than their two senior teams. 2022 Brunei FA Cup
The 2022 Brunei FA Cup was the 13th edition of the Brunei FA Cup and was the sole club competition organised by the Football Association of Brunei Darussalam for the year 2022. It began on August 6 and will be played until 4 December. The winner of the FA Cup will become the nation's representative for the 2023–24 AFC Cup. DPMM FC became the winners of the competition by beating Kasuka FC 2–1 in the final at Track & Field Sports Complex on 4 December. This is DPMM's second FA Cup triumph after last winning it in 2004. Competition format 32 teams were divided into groups of four, making eight groups in total. Teams will only play one round of matches, and the top two teams in the group table will advance to the knockout stage. Bahtera Kemudi Sekawan Football Club (), or abbreviation BAKES, formerly PSUT-KHEDN, is a football club in Brunei, playing in the Brunei Super League. The name directly translates to Camaraderie-Steered Galleon. History Back in 2005, a few coworkers who were employed by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) got together to play some casual football. Only ten years later did casual football grow into a serious sport. Weekly friendlies were played, and although coming from all departments, there was a strong relationship between the participants. Only seven players from the initial pool survived after activities and stats were recorded starting in 2010. In 2015, they changed their name to PSUT-KHEDN, and effective organizational structures were put in place for the management. 2021 Brunei Super League
The 2021 Brunei Super League is the seventh season of the Brunei Super League, the top Bruneian professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 2012. The season began on 20 June. On 7 August, the Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (FABD) announced the suspension of the league due to restrictions reimposed by the presence of local COVID-19 infections announced by the Ministry of Health on the same day. On 30 November, the FABD announced that the league will be abandoned due to the constraints caused by the pandemic, in order to prepare for a new competition to be held the following year. Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium
Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. It is currently used mostly for association football matches. The stadium holds 28,000 and was opened on 23 September 1983. It was named after Bruneian Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah. Construction Unusually for a public building in Brunei, members of the public donated and contributed towards the building of the stadium. Although the final collection of $1,102,761.57 accounted for a little more than 1.1 percent of the total building cost ($100 million), the public participation showed the Bruneians' great interest and support for this project.
