Hakan Koç
Hakan Koç (born November 25, 1980 in Sivas) is an amateur Turkish freestyle wrestler competing in the heavyweight division. He studied at Selçuk University. He defeated France's Vincent Aka-Akesse for the gold medal in the 96 kg division at the 2005 Mediterranean Games in Almería, Spain, in addition to his silver medal won at the 2005 Summer Universiade in İzmir, Turkey. He earned the bronze at the 2008 European Wrestling Championships in Tampere, Finland. Koc represented Turkey at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where he competed for the men's 96 kg class. Sivas
Sivas (Latin and Greek: ''Sebastia'', ''Sebastea'', Σεβάστεια, Σεβαστή, ) is a city in central Turkey and the seat of Sivas Province. Vincent Aka-Akesse
Kouadio Vincent Aka-Akesse (born October 25, 1975 in N'zi-Comoé, Côte d'Ivoire) is an amateur Ivorian-born French freestyle wrestler, who played for the men's heavyweight category. In 2005, Aka-Akesse had won two medals for the 96 kg class at the Mediterranean Games in Almería, Spain, and at the European Wrestling Championships in Varna, Bulgaria. Aka-Akesse made his official debut, as a member of the Ivorian team, for the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, where he competed in the men's 85 kg. He placed last in the preliminary pool, against Iran's Amir Reza Khadem, Romania's Nicolae Ghiţă, and Hungary's Gábor Kapuvári, without receiving a technical point. Men's freestyle 96 kilograms competition at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China, took place on 21 August at the China Agricultural University Gymnasium. This freestyle wrestling competition consists of a single-elimination tournament, with a repechage used to determine the winner of two bronze medals. The two finalists face off for gold and silver medals. Each wrestler who loses to one of the two finalists moves into the repechage, culminating in a pair of bronze medal matches featuring the semifinal losers each facing the remaining repechage opponent from their half of the bracket. Each bout consists of up to three rounds, lasting two minutes apiece. The wrestler who scores more points in each round is the winner of that rounds; the bout ends when one wrestler has won two rounds (and thus the match).
