Hajji
Hajji ( ar, الحجّي; sometimes spelled Hadji, Haji, Alhaji, Al-Hadj, Al-Haj or El-Hajj) is an honorific title which is given to a Muslim who has successfully completed the Hajj to Mecca. It is also often used to refer to an elder, since it can take years to accumulate the wealth to fund the travel (and did particularly before the advent of mass air travel), and in many Muslim societies to a respected man as an honorific title. The title is placed before a person's name; for example, Saif Gani becomes ''Hajji Saif Gani''. Hadži is also used in Orthodox Christianity for people who go on pilgrimage to the grave of Christ in Jerusalem. Hajji Zayn Al-Attar
Haji Zayn Attar ( 1329–1403) was a 14th-century Persian physician. He is best known as the author of the Persian language pharmacopoeia ''Ekhtiyarat i Badi i''. Biography Attar was born in 1329-1330 CE (730 AH) in Shiraz, and lived during the rule of the Injuids and the Muzaffarids. He was a descendent of the Sufi philosopher Abdullah Ansari. His father Kamal ol Din Hosein Ansari was a well-known physician, and had migrated from Isfahan to Shiraz. He served for sixteen years as the court physician to the Muzaffarid ruler Shah Shuja (r. 1358-1384). Attar died at Shiraz in 1403-1404 CE (806-807 AH). He had two sons: Hosein and Ahmad. The elder son Hosein Ansari wrote ''Sahah ol Adviah'' or ''Is-hah ol Adviah ("The Correction of Medicines"), considered a supplement to his father's book. Osman Haji
Osman Haji Mohamed ( so, Cismaan Xaaji Maxamed, ar, عثمان حاجي محمد) (b. 1920 – d. July 28, 1975), also known as Osman Baketti, was a Somali politician. He was a prominent figure in the government of the Trust Territory of Somalia and the succeeding civilian administration of independent Somalia. Early years Osman was born in 1920 in the town of Mareeg, situated in the El Dher District in central Somalia. The son of prominent local figure and hero Mohamed Afrah Garuun, he attended madrassahs in El Dher, before enrolling in a school in Mogadishu. Mohamed Yusuf Haji
Mohamed Yusuf Haji ( so, Maxamed Yuusuf Xaaji) (23 December 1940 – 15 February 2021) was a Kenyan politician. He was the Minister of Defence of Kenya from 2008 to 2013, and briefly served as its acting Minister of Internal Security and Provincial Affairs in 2012. He has served in the Senate of Kenya since 2013 under the jubilee party. He died on 15 February 2021.
