Mir Anvar Pashayev ( az, Mir Cəlal Paşayev; 26 April 1908, Khalkhal, Iran – 28 September 1978, Baku), known by his literary pen-name Mir Jalal, was an Azerbaijani writer and literary critic. He was the grandfather of Azerbaijan's current First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva.
