Hadley!
''Hadley!'' is a short-lived Australian political talk show hosted by commentator Ray Hadley which aired on the Australian subscription television news channel Sky News Australia in 2010 for four episodes. The program premiered on 16 November 2010. The program was broadcast live across the country from Sky News' Sydney studio in Macquarie Park and aired Wednesday evenings between 8:15 and 9:00 pm. The program's format consisted of a brief introduction by Hadley followed by an interview with a current federal politician. This was followed by the segment 'thumbs up or thumbs down' where Hadley and one of his guests, usually a journalist, posed pre-written questions to each other where they either agreed or disagreed. The final segment consisted of Hadley and either one of two panellists discussing political and general issues. Ray Hadley
Raymond Morris Hadley OAM (born 27 September 1954) is an Australian talkback radio broadcaster and a rugby league football commentator for Channel Nine. He presents 2GB Sydney's Monday to Friday morning show, and leads the Continuous Call Team, a rugby league-based talkback radio panel program. Early life Ray Hadley was born in 1954 and raised in a "housing commission house in Dundas Valley" Sydney but later went to live with his grandparents on an Eungai Rail farm on the mid north coast of New South Wales. While working as a cab driver, he was offered casual work at the radio station 2UE after giving the then news director, Mark Collier, a ride in his taxi. By 1982, he was covering sports including rugby league and horseracing. The Robertson Brothers is an Australian band of brothers who are best known for singing the ''Home and Away'' theme song, broadcast from 2000 to 2006. TV Tonight is an Australian-based website which features reviews, news and programming information related to television in Australia as well as OzTAM ratings information. The site was started by television critic David Knox in 2007 after listeners of his radio programs asked him for information they had missed. Knox runs the site, publishing his interviews with Australian media actors, producers, directors and programmers. Knox regularly visits the sets of Australian television series and reviews television programs. Knox also served as television critic for Radio National's breakfast program from 2009 to 2015. Standard-definition television (SDTV, SD, often shortened to standard definition) is a television system which uses a resolution that is not considered to be either high or enhanced definition. "Standard" refers to it being the prevailing specification for broadcast (and later, cable) television in the mid- to late-20th century, and compatible with legacy analog broadcast systems.
