''HaShminiya'' ( he, הַשְּׁמִינִיָּה; ''The Eight'') is a television series that was broadcast on the Israeli channel Arutz HaYeladim in Hot (Israel), HOT. Although the show was designated for children and teenagers, it was also popular with adults. The TV series was split into two parts eight and the eight the next generation Seasons Season 1 Amos Dvir, Avner HaLevy and Roberto, three scientists, investigate brain, cerebral energy called "The Lambda Ripples". They want to have an experiment that will involve six gifted kids. However, Avner and Amos decide to delay it for a few years. Disappointed, Roberto co-operates with Lillie Dvir, Amos's wife, and the two conduct the experiment on Amos and Lillie's children, three-year-old Maya and Jonathan. The experiment doesn't work and explodes, but the kids stay alive. Roberto goes to jail for six years and Lillie leaves Israel after divorcing Amos. The show fast forwards to seven years later. Avi Kornick
Avraham "Avi" Kornick ( he, אבי קורניק; born 2 May 1983) is an Israeli actor and is famous as a protagonist of the Israeli television series ''Split (TV series), Split'' and ''HaShminiya''. Biography Kornick grew up in Ramat Aviv, a prestigious neighborhood in Tel Aviv, Israel, where he lived together with his Jewish parents. He attended Alliance Israélite Universelle, Alliance High School in Tel Aviv. He began acting at the age of 14 and appeared in several TV advertisements. At 18 he planned to study at the New York University, however his mother suffered from cancer, so he stayed in Israel. She died when Kornick was 19 years old. Yedidia Vital ( he, ידידיה ויטל; born 2 October 1984) is an Israeli actor. Known for portraying the protagonist of the Israeli television series ''Split'' and ''HaShminiya''. Biography Yedidia Vital was born on 2 October 1984 at a hospital in Ramallah, to Jewish-Israeli parents. He grew up in Pardes Hanna-Karkur, Israel. However he moved to Tel Aviv to become an actor.
