In De Gloria
''In de Gloria'' ("In the Glory") was a 2000–01 Flemish TV sketch comedy show, directed by Jan Eelen and produced by the company ''Woestijnvis''. It was a mockumentary series which satirized reality television and human interest shows, especially the way regular people are exploited by media. The show ran on the Belgian public TV channel Canvas for two seasons of 10 episodes each. In Flanders itself, the series continues to enjoy significant popularity and critical praise, with several sketches having gained classic status. Despite the local popularity, the show has never been exported. Concept ''In de Gloria'' is a mockumentary in sketch show format. Every episode consists of a series of sketches that are mostly improvised around a central idea. The tone is tragicomical. Container Cup
The Container Cup is a TV program developed by Woestijnvis and broadcast by Belgian TV channel Vier. The first season aired between 26 April 2020 and 28 May 2020. In the format, 32 professional sporters had to finish a series of seven sporting events, organised in a container, in the least amount of time. The eventual winner of the first season was Mathieu van der Poel, with Hanne Claes the fastest woman. Some so-called "Famous Flemings" (former sportspeople, TV presenters, ...) also participated. The concept was created and filmed in less than two months, when all official sporting events were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The seven events were 1500m running, monkey bars, golf, 1000m rowing, shooting, bench press, and 3km cycling. The time needed for the running, rowing and cycling was added together. ''Taboe'' (Dutch for ''Taboo'') is a Flemish television show in which Philippe Geubels explores humor and topics that tend to be taboo in comedy, including physical limitations, terminal illnesses, skin color and poverty. In December 2018, the show won the '' Ha!'' award for best television show, an annual award by '' HUMO'' magazine. ''Basta'' was a Flemish television show aired in January and February 2011 on the Belgian channel Eén. The show was hosted by Neveneffecten and produced by Woestijnvis. It was a mix between comedy, current affairs and crime. The show tried to give some of one's own medicine. Although the show was a blockbuster, a second season was not made as Neveneffecten thought their approach would most probably not work anymore as they became famous. Van Vlees en Bloed (English: "From Flesh and Blood") is an international award-winning Belgian tragicomedy and miniseries written by Tom Van Dyck and Michiel Devlieger. The series was produced by Woestijnvis and first aired in 2009 on the Belgian channel Eén. The show is about a butcher shop owned by the family Vangenechten since 1952. Although the family name was indirectly inspired by, the characters are entirely fictitious and there is no direct link with the famous Belgian Vangenechten family. Plot: Whereas André Vangenechten and his wife Liliane Verstappen run the shop, it is actually still owned by André's mother Maria Vangenechten. ''Alles Kan Beter (Everything Can Be Better)'' was a Belgian comedy TV series produced by Flemish production house Woestijnvis between the end of 1997 and 1999. It was broadcast on the public TV channel Canvas, directed by Jan Eelen and starred TV presenter Mark Uytterhoeven, chief editor of ''HUMO'' Guy Mortier and the newcomer on television at that time Rob Vanoudenhoven as regular hosts. ''HUMO'' is a popular Dutch-language Belgian weekly radio and television supermarket tabloid.
