The HRH Princess Chulabhorn College of Medical Science () () is a higher educational institute located in Bangkok, Thailand focusing on health science and public health. It is a part of the Chulabhorn Royal Academy (CRA), named after Princess Chulabhorn Walailak. History On 19 January 2016, a royal decree established the CRA as an advanced research and higher educational institute, and the HRH Princess Chulabhorn College of Medical Science to be a college within the academy specialising in medicine, nursing, and health sciences. PCCMS admits about 30 students per year in a 6-year Doctor of Medicine course affiliated with Mahidol University, and runs in conjunction with the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University. Medical education in Thailand was pioneered by King Chulalongkorn, who founded the country's first medical school called the "School of Medical Practitioners" at Siriraj Hospital in 1889, now the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University. Chao Phraya Yommarat Hospital () is the main hospital of Suphan Buri Province, Thailand and is classified under the Ministry of Public Health as a regional hospital. It is an affiliated hospital of the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University. History Chao Phraya Yommarat Hospital was built in 1926 by money donated by Chao Phraya Yommarat (Pan Sukhum), minister of Suphan Buri as a two-storey concrete building, overlooking the Tha Chin River. Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Hospital () is the main hospital of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, Thailand and is classified under the Ministry of Public Health as a regional hospital. Buriram Hospital () is the main hospital of Buriram Province, Thailand and is classified under the Ministry of Public Health as a regional hospital.
