HNK O’Connor Knights FC (also known simply as O'Connor Knights) is an Australian semi-professional soccer club based in the northern Canberra suburb of O'Connor, Australian Capital Territory. Founded in 1997 by North Canberra's Croatian community, the club currently competes in the National Premier Leagues Capital Football ACT. 2019 Capital Football Season
The 2019 Capital Football season saw a new competition format for the top two men’s divisions in the Australian Capital Territory. The Capital League (former second division) became linked to the National Premier League (first division) with the introduction of a two-step plan to establish promotion and relegation between the two divisions, as well as a re-branding of both divisions to National Premier League 1 (NPL1) and National Premier League 2 (NPL2). Andrew James Barr (born 29 April 1973) is an Australian politician who has been serving as the 7th Chief Minister of the Australian Capital Territory since 2014. He has been an Australian Labor Party member in the ACT Legislative Assembly since 2006, after being elected on a countback to replace former Treasurer Ted Quinlan, who resigned mid-term. Barr was immediately promoted to Cabinet upon his election. Woden Park (also known as Woden Park Athletics Field) is a multi-use association football stadium and athletics centre located within Woden Valley, Canberra. It is the home ground of Woden Weston FC in the NPL Capital Football as well as ACT Little Athletics.
