Hüseyin Çakıroğlu
Hüseyin Çakıroğlu (19 September 1957 – 26 October 1986), nicknamed Doktor (English, the doctor) was a Turkish footballer who played as a midfielder. A ten-time international for the Turkey national football team, Çakıroğlu died suddenly of cancer in 1986 at the age of 29. Professional career and death Çakıroğlu had discomfort in his leg from a slow-growing tumor, but despite openly suffering from it became a professional footballer. Çakıroğlu spent his early career with Gaziantepspor, and stayed with the team even when they were relegated despite interest from Fenerbahçe. He ended up transferring to Fenerbahçe in 1984, and in his first season with them helped them win the Süper Lig. In the summer of 1986, Çakıroğlu's condition worsened, and it was found that the tumor in his leg had metastasized, spreading to his lungs and brain. TSYD Cup
The TSYD Cup ( tr, Türk Spor Yazarları Derneği Kupası, Turkish Sports Writers Association Cup) was a friendly football competition in Turkey. The tournament started in 1963. It was played throughout six regions in Turkey: Adana, Ankara, Istanbul, İzmir, Konya, and Trabzon. The competition's major leg which was played between the " Big Three"; Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray, and Beşiktaş Beşiktaş () is a district and municipality of Istanbul, Turkey, located on the European shore of the Bosphorus strait. Kardemir Karabükspor Footballers
Kardemir is a Turkish steel producer. The name is a contraction of the Turkish language ''Karabük Demir Çelik Fabrikaları'', which means "Karabük Iron and Steel Works". History Its main plant is located at Karabük in the Black Sea region of Turkey. Construction of the complex started in 1937 and finished in two years. Power plant was the first plant put into operation in 1939 and other plants became operative successionally within 2 years. Having functioned as a state-owned company for decades, Kardemir was privatized in 1995. Pollution Kardemir burns coal in Turkey. As an integrated steelworks emissions are higher than steel produced at electric arc furnaces. They also own Karabük coal-fired power station. Climate Trace estimates the plant emitted 3.7 million tonnes of carbon dioxide in 2021, more greenhouse gas than any other steelmaker in the country except İsdemir.
