Héctor Tomasi
Héctor Julio Tomasi (born July 5, 1928) was an Argentine bobsledder who competed from the late 1940s to the mid-1960s. Competing in three Winter Olympics, he earned his best finish of eighth in the four-man event at Oslo in 1952. He also finished twelfth in the four-man event as well as 15th in the two-man event at the 1948 Winter Olympics. The 1964 Winter Olympics, officially known as the IX Olympic Winter Games (german: IX. Olympische Winterspiele) and commonly known as Innsbruck 1964 ( bar, Innschbruck 1964, label=Austro-Bavarian), was a winter multi-sport event which was celebrated in Innsbruck, Austria, from January 29 to February 9, 1964. The city was already an Olympic candidate, unsuccessfully bidding to host the 1960 Games. Innsbruck won the 1964 Games bid, defeating the cities of Calgary in Canada and Lahti in Finland.
