Héctor Demarco (31 May 1936 – 21 June 2010) was a Uruguayan footballer. He played in 14 matches for the Uruguay national football team from 1955 to 1959. Forwards (also known as attackers) are outfield positions in an association football team who play the furthest up the pitch and are therefore most responsible for scoring goals as well as assisting them. As with any attacking player, the role of the forward relies heavily on being able to create space for attack.
