Hà Phương
Trần Thị Hà Phương (born 31 March 1972) better known as Hà Phương, is a Vietnamese singer. She is the second oldest sister of three singing sisters: Cẩm Ly, who runs a Saigon record company, and Vietnamese pop star Minh Tuyết. Early life Phuong grew up in Saigon, South Vietnam, where she dreamed of being a performer, but was also a shy and timid child. Phuong and her sisters represented their school in local and nationwide singing competitions in Vietnam. They also got airplay on VPOP (Vietnamese pop music) stations. Career Music After she graduated from high school, Phuong enrolled in the College of Arts and Culture, District 10 Culture House, where she took dance and music classes. She also took private vocal classes and studied Vietnamese/Broadway musicals. South Vietnam
South Vietnam, officially the Republic of Vietnam ( vi, Việt Nam Cộng hòa), was a state in Southeast Asia that existed from 1955 to 1975, the period when the southern portion of Vietnam was a member of the Western Bloc during part of the Cold War after the 1954 division of Vietnam. It first received international recognition in 1949 as the State of Vietnam within the French Union, with its capital at Saigon (renamed to Ho Chi Minh City in 1976), before becoming a republic in 1955. Trần Thị Cẩm Ly (born 30 March 1970) better known as Cẩm Ly, is a Vietnamese pop singer, who is also known for Southern Vietnam folk songs. She came to national attention in 1993. Her sisters are Minh Tuyết and Hà Phương. Background Her real name is Trần Thị Cẩm Ly and was born on 30 March 1970, in Saigon. Her hometown is in Qui Nhơn, Bình Định. Trần Thị Minh Tuyết (born 15 October 1976 in Ho Chi Minh City) better known as Minh Tuyết, is a Vietnamese-American pop singer, currently performing on Thúy Nga's '' Paris by Night''. Her sisters are Cẩm Ly and Hà Phương who perform with her as part of the cast of Paris by Night. She is known in the Vietnamese American culture as the Vietnamese Pop Princess.
