Hyundai Genesis
The Hyundai Genesis () is an executive car manufactured and marketed by Hyundai Motor Company over two generations from 2008 until 2016, before it was renamed the Genesis G80. It is a five-passenger, four-door, rear- or all-wheel-drive sedan. Introduced in concept form at the 2007 New York International Auto Show, and internally designated as the BH model, the Genesis was expected to cost $533 million to develop. Hyundai began marketing the first generation Genesis worldwide (except in Europe) in 2008 as a "premium sports sedan". A petrol engine (gasoline engine in American and Canadian English) is an internal combustion engine designed to run on petrol (gasoline). Petrol engines can often be adapted to also run on fuels such as liquefied petroleum gas and ethanol blends (such as '' E10'' and '' E85''). Kia K9
The Kia K9, marketed as the Kia K900 in the United States and Canada and as the Kia Quoris in other export markets, is a full-size luxury sedan manufactured and marketed by Kia, now in its second generation. The K9 was launched in South Korea in May 2012, with export sales beginning in late 2012. As of June 2013, it was sold in South Korea, the Middle East, Colombia, Chile, Guatemala, Peru, Russia, the United States, and Canada. There are plans to release it in China, although Kia will not use the Quoris nameplate after it lost a legal battle. The Hyundai Equus () was a full-sized, front-engine, rear-wheel-drive luxury sedan manufactured and marketed by Hyundai Motor Company from 1999 to 2016. It was produced over two generations in a four-door, five passenger configuration. The nameplate derives from the Latin ''equus'', meaning "horse." A second generation was released in 2009. As of August 2014, it was sold in South Korea, Russia, China, United States, Canada, Central America, and South America — as well as in the Middle East under the Hyundai Centennial (현대 센테니얼) nameplate. Hyundai Genesis Coupe
The Hyundai Genesis Coupe is a rear-wheel drive sports coupe from Hyundai Motor Company, first released on October 13, 2008, for the South Korea, Korean market. It is Hyundai's first rear-wheel drive sports coupe, and shares its basic platform with the Hyundai Genesis luxury sedan. The Genesis Coupe arrived in United States dealerships on February 26, 2009, as a 2010 model. John Krsteski
John Krsteski is an American automobile designer, automotive artist, painter and Chief Designer at Genesis, North America. Born in Macedonia, he moved to Detroit, Michigan when he was a child. He went on to study transportation design at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. While at CCS, Krsteski elected also to study painting. On graduation, he joined Johnson controls where he worked on advanced automotive interiors at a time when the expectation for design graduates was to become exterior designers. He described going into interior design as "An unusual step of focusing on his weakness", Krsteski worked at Johnson controls for three years where he became a design manager. He joined Hyundai Motor America in 2007 as a design manager, remained there for 13 years, and joined joining Genesis Design, as a chief designer.
