Hyperdrama (album)
''Hyperdrama'' is the fourth studio album by French electronic music duo Justice, released on 26 April 2024 through Ed Banger Records and Because Music. It is their first studio album in over seven years, following ''Woman'' (2016). The album was preceded by the singles " One Night/All Night" with Tame Impala, and "Generator", which were released together alongside its announcement, followed by "Incognito" and later "Saturnine" with Miguel. The album received generally positive reviews from critics. The duo will tour North America and Europe in support of the album from April to December 2024, beginning with a performance at Coachella. Background The album title was first announced on 18 January 2024. In a statement released with the official album announcement a week later, Justice said that "Disco/funk and electronic music at large have always been core elements of the music we make as Justice. Justice (band)
Justice is a French electronic music duo consisting of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay. The duo's label is Ed Banger Records, managed by Pedro Winter. Justice is known for incorporating a strong rock influence into their music and image. The band's debut album ''Cross'' was released in June 2007 to critical acclaim. The album was later nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Electronic/Dance Album and came in at number 15 on Pitchfork's ''Top 50 Albums of 2007'' and number 18 on Blender's "25 Best Albums of 2007" list. It was nominated for the 2007 Shortlist Prize, losing out to ''The Reminder'' by Feist. The band's remix of the MGMT song "Electric Feel" won the Grammy Award for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical in 2009. Kevin Parker (musician)
Kevin Richard Parker (born 20 January 1986) is an Australian singer, songwriter, musician, and record producer, best known for his musical project Tame Impala, for which he writes, performs, records, and produces the music. Parker has released four Tame Impala albums: ''Innerspeaker'' (2010), ''Lonerism'' (2012), ''Currents'' (2015), and ''The Slow Rush'' (2020). He has won 13 ARIA Music Awards, two APRA Awards, and a Brit Award, and has received four Grammy Award nominations. In addition to his work for Tame Impala, Parker was the drummer of Pond from 2009 until 2011. He produced the band's studio albums ''Beard, Wives, Denim'' (2012), ''Hobo Rocket'' (2013), '' Man, It Feels Like Space Again'' (2015), '' The Weather'' (2017), and ''Tasmania'' (2019). ''Mojo'' is a popular music music magazine, magazine published monthly in the United Kingdom, initially by Ascential, Emap, and since January 2008 by Bauer Verlagsgruppe, Bauer. Following the success of the magazine ''Q (magazine), Q'', publishers Emap were looking for a title that would cater for the burgeoning interest in classic rock music.
