"Hype" is a song by English rapper Dizzee Rascal and Scottish DJ Calvin Harris. The song was released as a single on 24 June 2016. Rascal and Harris had previously collaborated on the 2008 single " Dance wiv Me", the 2009 single " Holiday" and on "Here 2 China", a song from Harris's third studio album, ''18 Months ''18 Months'' is the third studio album by Scottish DJ and musician Calvin Harris. It was released on 26 October 2012 by Deconstruction, Fly Eye and Columbia Records. It marked Harris's first album where he does not regularly provide vocals on e ...'' (2012). Although Harris and Rascal had previously worked together on several singles they did so remotely, emailing the track components back and forth, "Hype" marks the first song they worked on together in the same studio at the same time. "Holiday" is a song by English rapper Dizzee Rascal, released as the third single from his fourth studio album, ''Tongue n' Cheek''. It was produced by Calvin Harris, with chorus vocals by R&B singer Chrome. Harris originally wrote the song for girl group, The Saturdays, but it was rejected. The song was released digitally on 23 August 2009, with a physical copy that followed on 31 August 2009. The extended mix of the song also appears on Harris' second studio album, '' Ready for the Weekend''. "Dance wiv Me" mixes Rascal's usual grime style with dance music from Harris and R&B from Chrome.
