"Hypa Hypa" is a song by German metal and trancecore band Electric Callboy (formerly Eskimo Callboy). The track is the first single from their second EP ''MMXX''. The track gained notoriety in 2021 through its various reissues that the band released in collaboration with other musicians. The song reached number 77 on the German charts. Genesis and artwork The song was written by the band members Daniel Haniß, Kevin Ratajczak, Nico Sallach and Pascal Schillo. Recording and production resulted from the collaboration between Haniß, Ratajczak and Schillo. Haniß was also responsible for mixing the piece himself. The mastering was done by Pitchback Studio, under the direction of the owner Aljoscha Seig. A screenshot from the accompanying music video can be seen on the front cover of the single. Electric Callboy (formerly known as Eskimo Callboy) is a German electronicore band formed in Castrop-Rauxel in 2010. They take a more relaxed approach to the genre, and are known for their comedic songs, live shows and videos. History Early releases and ''Bury Me in Vegas'' (2010–2013) The first self-titled EP was self-released in 2010 and was distributed via EMP. Later the band re-released the EP via their actual recording label Redfield Records. The band was a support act for groups like Bakkushan, Callejon, Ohrbooten, We Butter the Bread with Butter and Neaera. The mullet is a hairstyle in which the hair is cut shorter at the front, top and sides, but is longer at the back. "Hyper Hyper" is a song by German band Scooter, released in May 1994 as the first single from their debut album, '' ... and the Beat Goes On!'' (1995). It was sold in three versions: two of the versions had the same track listings, but different covers. The song was one of the most successful dance hits of 1994. The original "Hyper Hyper" quotes were taken from Ultra-Sonic's 1993 track "Annihilating Rhythm (Do you love your hardcore?)", licensed to Low Spirit Records/Polydor.
