Hyojung
Choi Hyo-jung (; born on July 28, 1994), better known mononymously as Hyojung is a South Korean singer. She is the leader of the South Korean girl group Oh My Girl. Early life Hyojung was born on July 28, 1994, in Anyang, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. Career 2015–2018: Debut with Oh My Girl & other activities On April 20, 2015, Hyojung made her debut as a member of Oh My Girl with their first extended play, ''Oh My Girl.'' In February 2017, she competed on ''King of Mask Singer'' under the name "Moon," appearing in episode 98. In April 2018, alongside Arin and Binnie, she debuted in Oh My Girl's first sub-unit, ''Oh My Girl Banhana.'' 2019–present: Solo activities In August 2019, it was confirmed that Hyojung would be taking part in '' Queendom''. In January 2020, she became a DJ for Naver Now's "Avenger Girls". In September 2020, she was announced to be a host for OnStyle's ''Get It Beauty''. Oh My Girl
Oh My Girl (, also stylized as OH MY GIRL and OMG) is a South Korean girl group formed by WM Entertainment. The group is composed of six members: Hyojung, Mimi, YooA, Seunghee, Yubin and Arin. Originally an eight-piece group, JinE left the group in October 2017 due to health issues, and Jiho left in May 2022. Oh My Girl debuted on April 20, 2015, with an eponymous extended play. History 2015: Debut with ''Oh My Girl'' and ''Closer'' Oh My Girl was publicized as the sister group of label-mate group B1A4. On March 26, 2015, teaser images of the eight members were released as well as their concept images. On April 20, the group released their first extended play, ''Oh My Girl'', which included the single "Cupid". They held their debut showcase the same day. King Of Mask Singer
''The King of Mask Singer'' () is a South Korean singing competition program presented by Kim Sung-joo, with introductions by voice actor . It airs on MBC on Sunday, starting from April 5, 2015 as a part of MBC's '' Sunday Night'' programming block. Format Each competition lasts for two episodes, with the singers competing one-on-one in three elimination rounds. They are given elaborate masks which are made by designer and gloves to wear in order to conceal their identity, thus removing factors such as popularity, career and age that could lead to prejudiced voting. In the first round, both contestants sing the same song, while in the second and third round they each sing a solo song. The winners of each pair are selected by the audience and panel of celebrities through instant live votes. The identities of the singers are not revealed until they have been eliminated. ''Fantastic Duo'' ( ko, 판타스틱 듀오) is a South Korean television show where fans can sing a duet with their favorite singer using their cell phones. This show is currently hosted by Jun Hyun-moo, Kim Bum-soo and Kim Jun-hyun. It airs on SBS every Sunday at 16:50 ( KST) beginning April 17, 2016; forming part of SBS's ''Good Sunday'' lineup. There were 30 episodes aired during Season 1, which ended on November 20, 2016. Season 2 broadcast every Sundays at 18:30 (KST) starting March 26, 2017, after '' Running Man''.
