Ian Brody Hutzler (born April 20, 1971) is an American actor. He is best known for portraying Patrick Lockhart on '' Days of Our Lives''. Hutzler has also appeared in '' 7th Heaven'', ''She Spies'', ''Birds Of Prey'', '' Charmed'', ''Las Vegas'', '' Family Guy'', and '' Ally McBeal''. Early life Ian Brody Hutzler was born on April 20, 1971, in Fairbanks, Alaska. He attended Michigan State University before relocating to Los Angeles. Moses Hutzler
Moses Hutzler (November 28, 1800 – January 13, 1889) was a German-born American businessman and co-founder of the first Reform Jewish congregation in the United States, Har Sinai. Biography Moses Hutzler was born in Hagenbach, Bavaria, the son of and Beuleh (née Baer) and Gabriel Hutzler. After attending school in Hagenbach, he learned the tailoring and dry-goods business. In 1838, he emigrated to the United States and opened a tailoring shop for women in Baltimore, Maryland which was unsuccessful. He then moved to Frederick, Maryland where he opened a haberdashery business. In 1840, he returned to Baltimore. In 1858, his son Abram G. (1836-1927) opened the company ''M. Hutzler & Son'' as Moses signed the note backing the company. After two of his other sons, Charles G. Hutzler's, or Hutzler Brothers Company, was a department store founded in Baltimore by Abram G. Hutzler (1836–1927) in 1858. From its beginning as a small dry goods store at the corner of Howard and Clay Streets in downtown Baltimore, Hutzler's eventually grew into a chain of 10 department stores, all of which were located in Maryland. Early years At age 23, Abram Hutzler was not yet old enough to secure credit; his father, Moses Hutzler, signed the official documents Abram needed to open the store in July 1858. Although the store originally traded as M. Hutzler & Son, Moses Hutzler was otherwise not involved in the business. After Abram brought his two brothers, Charles and David, into the business in 1867, the retail store was left in David's hands while Abram and Charles operated a wholesale business.
