Hussin Ismail
Tan Sri Hussin bin Haji Ismail (born 15 April 1953) was a retired Malaysian police officer who served as Deputy Inspector General of Police from 13 September 2010 to 14 April 2011. Early life Hussin Ismail was born on 15 April 1953 in Muar, Johor. Police career Hussin Ismail began his career in Police Force as Probationary Inspector on 15 December 1971 at Kuala Kubu Baru Police College, Selangor. After complete his training, he started working in Special Branch, Bukit Aman until he was promoted to Inspector on 15 December 1974. On 24 May 1982, he was promoted to Assistant Superintendent of Police and held the position of Staff Officer E1E2, Bukit Aman before became Head of Batu Pahat District Special Branch on 29 July 1984. After being promoted to Deputy Superintendent of Police on 26 January 1989, he was entrusted to lead the Perlis Contingent Special Branch. New Straits Times
The ''New Straits Times'' is an English-language newspaper published in Malaysia. It is Malaysia's oldest newspaper still in print (though not the first), having been founded as ''The Straits Times'' on 15 July 1845. It was relaunched as the ''New Straits Times'' on 13 August 1974. The paper served as Malaysia's only broadsheet format English-language newspaper. However, following the example of British newspapers ''The Times'' and ''The Independent'', a tabloid version first rolled off the presses on 1 September 2004 and since 18 April 2005, the newspaper has been published only in tabloid size, ending a 160-year-old tradition of broadsheet publication. A knight is a person granted an honorary title of knighthood by a head of state (including the Pope) or representative for service to the monarch, the church or the country, especially in a military capacity.
