Tropical Cyclone
A tropical cyclone is a rapidly rotating storm system characterized by a low-pressure center, a closed low-level atmospheric circulation, strong winds, and a spiral arrangement of thunderstorms that produce heavy rain and squalls. ''Pitchfork'' (formerly ''Pitchfork Media'') is an American online music publication (currently owned by Condé Nast) that was launched in 1995 by writer Ryan Schreiber as an independent music blog. Mando Diao is an alternative rock band from Borlänge, Sweden. The band got their breakthrough with the release of the album ''Hurricane Bar''. Their main fan base is in Sweden, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Japan. Band members are Björn Dixgård (vocals, guitar), Carl-Johan Fogelklou (bass), Jens Siverstedt (guitar), Daniel Haglund (keyboard) and Patrik Heinkipieti (drums). History Early years (1999–2002) The roots of Mando Diao date back to 1999 when Björn Dixgård (vocals, guitar) and Daniel Haglund (keyboard) played in a band called Butler, which they had founded in the middle of the 1990s. In 1996, Gustaf Norén (vocals, guitar), joined the band. In 1999, Carl-Johan Fogelklou (bass, backing vocals) and Samuel Giers (drums) became members and completed the original band. Clean Town
"Clean Town" is the first single by Swedish band Mando Diao from their 2004 album Hurricane Bar and their fourth single overall (not counting EPs). "Clean Town" was released in Japan as an EP, commonly known as the "Japan Tour EP." The EP featured an enhanced section with two live videos from a Japanese performance at the Harajuku Astro Hall. The B-sides, "Hail The Sunny Days" and "Your Lover's Nerve," both later featured again on the Swedish version of " You Can't Steal My Love", the latter also appearing as a bonus track on the Japanese version of Hurricane Bar. The live version of "Little Boy Jr," recorded in Boston, from the Japanese EP has appeared on many Mando Diao releases, including the UK version of " God Knows", the US version of the Paralyzed EP and the German limited edition of " Bring 'Em In". Tuttlingen (Alemannic: ''Duttlinga'') is a town in Baden-Württemberg, capital of the district Tuttlingen. The Southside Festival (simply known as Southside) is an annual music festival that takes place near Tuttlingen, Germany, usually every June. The festival as well as its artists and audiences are generally associated within the alternative part of popular music. The Hurricane Festival, often referred to as the "sister" of Southside, takes place on the same three days in the very north of Germany (contrary to Southside, which is in the very south).
