Autumn Marie Hurlbert (born 6 March 1980) is an American actress, singer, and dancer. Hurlbert is best known as the runner-up on the reality competition series '' Legally Blonde: The Musical – The Search for Elle Woods''. After taping the competition, Hurlbert served as a member of the Broadway cast in '' Legally Blonde: The Musical'' until its closing on Oct 19, 2008. She also understudied the parts of Elle and Margot on Broadway. Kenneth Earl Hurlburt (April 10, 1928 – July 17, 2016) was a Canadian Member of Parliament. Life Kenneth Earl "The Hurler" Hurlburt was born on April 10, 1928, in Lethbridge, Alberta Alberta ( ) is one of the thirteen provinces and territories of Canada. Marge Hurlburt (December 30, 1914 – July 4, 1947) was an American aviator who flew with the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) during World War II and set a women's international air speed record in 1947. Biography Margaret M. "Marge" Hurlburt was born and lived in Painesville, Ohio. She graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1938 and went on to teach school in Ohio. In the early 1940s, she took up flying at the airport in Willoughby, Ohio. The pioneering aviator Jacqueline Cochran recruited her into the Womens Air Service Pilots (WASP) in 1943. Between 1943 and 1945, she ferried aircraft around the country and towed targets for gunners, flying C-60s, B-24s, and B-17s. After the war, she obtained her rating as a flight instructor and worked at the Willoughby airfield, where she began learning aerobatics in the AT-6 aircraft. Doctor Philastus Hurlbut (February 3, 1809 – June 16, 1883) was a 19th-century Latter Day Saint dissenter. Hurlbut is best known for his collection of affidavits which in 1834 were published in Eber D. Howe’s anti-Mormon book '' Mormonism Unvailed'' . The purpose of these affidavits was to produce damaging evidence related to the character of Joseph Smith, the founder of the Latter Day Saint movement, Smith's family, and his associates. Life and work Hurlbut was born in Chittenden County, Vermont. He was a Methodist preacher in Jamestown, New York, and joined Joseph Smith's Church of Christ sometime in 1832 or 1833. He was ordained as an elder of the church on March 18, 1833, by Sidney Rigdon. In June 1833, Hurlbut was excommunicated from the church on charges of sexual immorality. Richard Melbourne Hurlburt (born April 25, 1950) is a Canadian politician. He represented the electoral district of Yarmouth in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly from 1999 to 2010. William Henry Hurlbert (July 3, 1827—September 4, 1895) was an American journalist and the possible author of “The Diary of a Public Man,” published in the ''North American Review'' in 1879. His responsibility for the Diary—once dubbed the “most gigantic” problem of uncertain authorship in American historical writing—was carefully concealed and has only recently been established. Hurlburt Hurricane
The Hurlburt Hurricane, also known as the Camburn Special, is a midget-class racing plane designed in the mid 1940s by aviators Marge Hurlburt, Anna Logan, and Duke Caldwell, all former members of the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP). When WASP was disbanded after World War II, former WASP aviator Marge Hurlburt took up air racing, becoming interested in a new midget class of racing airplanes that had first been proposed before the war: these would be smaller, lighter, and cheaper to build than those then in use and thus suitable for civilian pilots and homebuilders to build and fly. Together with fellow WASP aviators Anna Logan and Duke Caldwell, she formed a consortium to design and build such a plane, which required a stock engine, fixed pitched propeller, and non-retractable landing gear.
