Hunter Johnson is a ballroom dancer and choreographer. Biography Johnson met his partner and wife while teaching ballroom dance at Londance in Southern California. They compete in the professional American-style division, and have opened an Arthur Murray dance studio and settled down in Cypress, Texas. They continue to travel, doing shows and coaching. Hunter Johnson (composer)
Hunter Johnson (April 14, 1906 – August 27, 1998) was an American composer. His compositions include a piano sonata and the orchestral music for Martha Graham's ballets ''Letter to the World'', based on the life and poetry of Emily Dickinson, and '' Deaths and Entrances''. His musical style was a combination of neoclassic, neoromantic, and nationalist. Johnson was born near Benson, North Carolina. He attended Benson High School and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before leaving the state to finish his undergraduate studies at the Eastman School of Music in 1929. UNC later awarded him an honorary doctorate. He taught at the University of Michigan (1929–33), the University of Manitoba (1944–47), Cornell (1948–53), the University of Illinois (1959–65) and the University of Texas (1966–71). Hunter Johnson (born March 18, 1998) is an American football quarterback. High school career Johnson attended Brownsburg High School in Brownsburg, Indiana. During his career he passed for 6,657 yards and 69 touchdowns, including 2,233 yards and 25 touchdowns as a senior. Johnson was a four-year starter on the varsity football team, playing in the state's largest class (6A). He led his team to a Hoosier Crossroads Conference championship as a senior and was awarded the team's MVP. Johnson was named team captain his junior and senior years. He holds multiple school records including: Most touchdown passes completed in a game (6), season (31), most passing yards in a game (452) and in a career (6657).
