The Hungary women's national artistic gymnastics team represents Hungary in FIG international competitions. History Hungary has won the silver medal in the Olympic team competition three-times: 1948, 1952, and 1956. European Union Of Gymnastics
European Gymnastics is one of five continental unions that represents the interests of Europe in the International Gymnastics Federation (french: Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique or ''FIG''). It was formed on 27 March 1982 as the European Union of Gymnastics (french: Union Européenne de Gymnastique or ''UEG'') and adopted its current name on 1 April 2020. 2020 European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships
The 33rd European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships were held from 17 to 20 December 2020 in Mersin, Turkey. The competition was originally scheduled to be held from 30 April to 3 May 2020 in Paris, France, but it was rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Baku, Azerbaijan was announced as the replacement host for 17 to 20 December, before the event was relocated to Mersin. Originally an Olympic qualifying event, the competition was undesignated as such in light of the ongoing pandemic, so as to avoid pressuring member federations to attend if they were not willing to do so. Only 15 nations opted to send athletes, as the majority of countries withdrew out of concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe. Mirtill Makovits
Mirtill Makovits (born 30 March 2004) is a Hungarian artistic gymnast. She won a bronze medal at the 2020 European Championships with the Hungarian team. Career Junior Makovits finished 5th in the all-around and 4th on the uneven bars at the 2018 Olympic Hopes Cup in Liberec, Czech Republic. She competed at the 2019 Elek Matolay Memorial where she won the gold medal in the all-around and on the uneven bars, as well as a silver medal on the balance beam. She won the silver medal on the floor exercise behind Lisa Vaelen at the International GymSport in Porto, Portugal. She competed at the 2019 Junior World Championships in Győr with Nikolett Szilágyi and Hanna Szujó, and they finished 16th as a team, and Makovits finished 17th in the all-around. Zsófia Kovács (gymnast)
Zsófia Kovács (; born 6 April 2000) is a Hungarian artistic gymnast who competed at the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games. She is the 2017 and 2023 European all-around silver medalist, the 2020 European champion on uneven bars, as well as the 2020 and 2022 European champion on vault. Early life Kovács was born on 6 April 2000 in Dunaújváros. She started gymnastics at the age of six. Boglárka Dévai (born 12 November 1999) is a Hungarian female artistic gymnast. She is the 2018 European champion and 2017 European bronze medalist on vault. She participated at the 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Glasgow. Dunaújváros (; also known by other alternative names) is an industrial city in Fejér County, Central Hungary. It is a city with county rights. Bettina Lili Czifra (born 20 April 2007) is a Hungarian artistic gymnast. She is a three-time World Challenge Cup medalist. Orosháza
Orosháza is a city situated in the westernmost part of Békés county, Hungary, on the Békés ridge bordered by the rivers Maros and Körös.
