Hungary Fed Cup Team
The Hungary women's national tennis team represents Hungary in Fed Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Magyar Tenisz Szövetség. They currently compete in the Europe/Africa Zone of Group I. History Hungary competed in its first Fed Cup in 1963. Their best result was reaching the quarterfinals in 1963 and 1985. Players Note: players in bold are part of the 2019 Fed Cup team. 1963 Federation Cup (tennis)
The 1963 Federation Cup was the first edition of what is now known as the Fed Cup. The tournament was created provide a team competition for women, similar to the Davis Cup men's competition. 16 nations participated in the first event, which was held at the Queen's Club in London, United Kingdom from 17–20 June.
