Hungary competed at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris from 26 July to 11 August 2024. Taekwondo At The 2024 Summer Olympics
The taekwondo competitions at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris are scheduled to run from 7 to 10 August at the Grand Palais strip. 128 taekwondo fighters, with an equal distribution between men and women, will compete across eight different weight categories (four per gender) at the Games, the same amount as the previous editions since Beijing 2008. Each weight category is composed of sixteen taekwondo fighters; however, this figure may increase if additional athletes are invited and selected from the Refugee Olympic Team. Viviana Márton
Viviana Márton Kiss (born 16 February 2006) is a Hungarian taekwondo athelete. She won the Olympic gold medal in the women's 67 kg in the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris. Early life The daughter of Zsolt and Barbara Márton, her father formerly did kickboxing in Budapest and her mother played handball. Her parents moved to the Canary Islands in the early 2000s. She was born in Tenerife, and moved to Madrid in 2018. Career She trained at the Hankuk club in Madrid and where she was coached by Finnish former Olympic Taekwondo practitioner Suvi Mikkonen. Kristóf Rasovszky (born 27 March 1997) is a Hungarian Olympic swimmer. He represented his country at the 2016 Summer Olympics and 2020 Summer Olympics winning the silver medal in the 10 kilometre open water swim at the 2020 Olympic Games.
