''Hungama'' () is a 2003 Indian Hindi-language comedy film directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Venus Records & Tapes. The film stars Akshaye Khanna, Paresh Rawal, Aftab Shivdasani and Rimi Sen, while Shakti Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Tiku Talsania and Shoma Anand play supporting roles. ''Hungama'' is 2005 Indian Telugu-language comedy film directed by S. V. Krishna Reddy starring Ali, Abhinayasri, Venu Madhav and Brahmanandam. The film is a remake of the Malayalam film ''Mattupetti Machan'' (1998). Plot Pedda Babu and Chinna Babu are step brothers and also neighbors each with a beautiful daughter. Balaraju gets insulted when he visits the house of Chinna Babu for a marriage proposal. Balaraju wants to seek revenge by making sure that Vidya Jyothi – daughter of Chinna Babu – would get the worst youngster as husband. Hungama TV is an Indian television channel aimed at children, mainly showcasing Japanese and Indian animated series. It was launched on 26 September 2004. The Hindi word "hungama" means 'ruckus' in English. It is owned by Disney Star. The channel primarily airs Japanese kids animes with some other children's television series. History UTV and Ronnie Screwvala formed United Home Entertainment with 51% and 49% ownership interests, respectively. The company was formed to launch an Indian kids channel. It hired TAG for channel packaging. Chief Operating Officer Purnendu Bose was hired and was expected to hire 100 employees for the channel.
