Ekenedirichukwu Ijemba (born May 14, 1991), better known by his stage name Humblesmith, is a Nigerian afropop recording artist who achieved recognition upon the release of his hit single titled " Osinachi" in 2015 which later won a nomination spot at the 2016 Nigeria Entertainment Awards. He first ventured into the entertainment business as an actor, starring in a number of films including ''Hypertension'' (2010) with Sam Loco Efe. Currently signed to Show Bobo Music Limited, he made the list of "10 Artists To Watch in 2016" by ''notJustOk''. Early life Originally from Uruala, a town in Ideato North local government area of Imo State, southeastern Nigeria, Ekene Ijemba was born on May 14, 1991, into a Catholic family in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, Nigeria. Osinachi (song)
"Osinachi" is a song by Nigerian afropop recording artist Humblesmith. It is referenced as the song that shot Humblesmith's music career to limelight. Composition "Osinachi" (English: from God) is a gospel-afro pop-infused highlife song. The lyrical content centres on thanksgiving and appreciation to God. In an interview with '' The Sun'', Humblesmith revealed that he got the inspiration for the song in a church. Reception Upon its release on 10 August 2015, "Osinachi" was received to positive reviews and gained rotational airplay in Nigeria. The Headies 2015 was the 10th edition of The Headies. It was held on January 1, 2016, at the Landmark Events Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos. Themed "Flip the Script", the event was hosted by Bovi and Kaffy. It was previously scheduled to hold on December 30, 2015, but the organizers of the event postponed it to January 1, 2016 without citing any reason. Harrison Tare Okiri, better known by his stage name Harrysong, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and instrumentalist who rose to fame after his tribute song to Nelson Mandela won the "Most Downloaded Callertune Award" at The Headies 2013.
