Humaramovie
Humaramovie, also occasionally stylized HumaraMovie, is an Indian YouTube channel and initiative that was launched in 2011 by Vinay Mishra, Preety Ali, Pallavi Rohatgi and Raghavan. The channel specializes in short film and is known for providing a platform for young filmmakers. In 2014 Humaramovie launched the Shuruaat Ka Interval, a film festival that is hosted digitally and at PVR Cinemas, where the chosen films will be screened. Since then the channel has also launched Shor Se Shuruaat, a short-film mentoring program that would team eight participants with directors such as Shyam Benegal, Mira Nair, Zoya Akhtar, Imtiaz Ali, Sriram Raghavan, Nagesh Kukunoor and Homi Adajania Homi Adajania (born 1972) is an Indian film director and writer. Shuruaat Ka Interval
''Shuruaat Ka Interval'' is a 2014 Indian collaborative feature film directed by a team of eight filmmakers including Aarti S. Bagdi, Amrit Raj Gupta, Atanu Mukherjee, Ankit Tripathi, Krishan Hooda, Palash Vaswani, Rukshana Tabassum, Shishir Jha. PVR Director's Rare & Humaramovie presented the short film anthology Shuruaat Ka Interval, which includes 8 shorts from various filmmakers, chosen and mentored by filmmakers Imtiaz Ali (director), Imtiaz Ali, Vikramaditya Motwane, Anand Gandhi & Vikas Bahl. Shyam Benegal
Shyam Benegal (born 14 December 1934) is an Indian film director, screenwriter and documentary filmmaker. Often regarded as the pioneer of parallel cinema, he is widely considered as one of the greatest filmmakers post 1970s. He has received several accolades, including eighteen National Film Awards, a Filmfare Award and a Nandi Award. In 2005, he was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, India's highest award in the field of cinema. Imtiaz Ali (born 16 June 1971) is an Indian film director, producer, actor and writer who works in Hindi cinema. Early and personal life Imtiaz Ali was born in Jamshedpur and spent some of his early years in Patna. Imtiaz belongs to the Muslim family of Jamshedpur in Bihar (now Jharkhand). Sriram Raghavan (born 22 June 1963) is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works in Hindi cinema. He is primarily considered an auteur of neo-noir action thrillers. Raghavan made his directorial debut with '' Ek Hasina Thi'' (2004). The 62nd Filmfare Awards ceremony, presented by the Filmfare magazine, honored the best Hindi language Indian films of 2016. The ceremony was held on 14 January 2017 and was co-hosted by Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar and Kapil Sharma. ''Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'' and ''Udta Punjab'' led the ceremony with 9 nominations each, followed by ''Kapoor & Sons'' and ''Neerja'' with 8 nominations each.
