Humanitarian Satellite Award
The Humanitarian Award is a specially designated Satellite Award for special achievement via community involvement and work on social causes. Unlike the Satellite Award statuettes, which are decided by the voting membership, honorees are selected each year by the IPA President and Board Members. The award is for those in the entertainment industry who have truly made a difference in the lives of those in the artistic community and beyond. Satellite Award
The Satellite Awards are annual awards given by the International Press Academy that are commonly noted in entertainment industry journals and blogs. The awards were originally known as the Golden Satellite Awards. The award ceremonies take place each year at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles. Mounia Meddour (born 15 May 1978) is a Franco-Algerian film director. Biography Meddour's father is the Algerian director Azzedine Meddour and her mother comes from Russia.
