''Human'' is the debut album by American hard rock band Projected. It was released on September 18, 2012. Initially envisioned as a solo project by founder John Connolly, the project eventually grew into a full-fledged band involving a number of musicians that he had intentions of working with, namely Scott Phillips of Creed and Alter Bridge, and Eric Friedman of Submersed. The album received generally positive reception but limited public exposure, as little promotion of the album in the way of touring was possible due to members' commitments to their respective bands. Background After completing the recording and touring for Sevendust's eighth studio album, ''Cold Day Memory'', guitarist John Connolly desired to branch out to a new project in the downtime before working on what would become their ninth album, '' Black Out the Sun''. Human (Death Album)
''Human'' is the fourth studio album by American death metal band Death, released on October 22, 1991, by Relativity Records. The album marked the beginning of a major stylistic change for Death, being more technically complex and progressive than the band's previous efforts. The lyrics are more introspective when compared to the gore-based lyrics of ''Scream Bloody Gore'' and ''Leprosy'' or the social commentary on ''Spiritual Healing''. This new style would continue to evolve on all following Death albums. This is the only album to feature Cynic members Paul Masvidal on guitars and Sean Reinert on drums, both only 20 at that time, and the first to feature bassist Steve DiGiorgio. Bass player Steve DiGiorgio left after the recording of this album (though he would later return to record ''Individual Thought Patterns''). He was replaced by Scott Carino, who toured with the band in 1991 and 1992. Carino also recorded additional bass overdub on "Cosmic Sea" after a couple of issues w ...

As of 2012, ''Human'' has sold 214,000 copies in the United States, failing to match the commercial success of predecessors. While leading single "Right Here (Departed)" scored Norwood her biggest chart success since "Full Moon" (2002), the second and final " Long Distance" was not as commercially successful. ''Human'' would become the ...
