Huma FC
Huma Football Club is a professional football club based in Islamabad, Pakistan. It currently competes in the Pakistan Premier League. History Huma was founded in 1970. In 2007, it took part in the Islamabad Division Football League. In the 2013 PFF League, Huma was drawn in group C. It finished bottom of its group. In the 2014 PFF League, Huma ended up second in group A. After six years, it made its return to the PFF League, in the 2020 edition. It defeated Jeay Laal, Lyallpur, Young Ittefaq, and Wohaib in its group. The final match was between the top two teams, Huma and Baloch Quetta, where the winner would earn promotion to the 2021 Pakistan Premier League. Both teams were previously undefeated in the tournament. Huma was defeated in the final, and therefore, was not promoted. The Pakistan Premier League (PPL; ur, پاکستان پریمیئر لیگ) is a Pakistani professional league for men's association football clubs. At the top of the Pakistan football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Football Federation League. Since inception of the Pakistan Premier League in 2004, four clubs have won the title: Khan Research Laboratories (5) WAPDA (4), Pakistan Army (2) and K-Electric (1). AFC Cup
The AFC Cup is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). Under its current rules, the competition is played primarily between clubs from nations that did not receive direct qualifying slots in the top-tier AFC Champions League, based on the AFC Club Competitions Ranking. Al-Kuwait SC and Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya are the most successful clubs in the competition's history, having won three titles each. AFC President's Cup
The AFC President's Cup was an annual international association football competition between domestic clubs sides run by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) held between 2005 and 2014. The competition targeted emerging football nations, and was set below the AFC Champions League and AFC Cup competitions. Competition format Between 8 and 12 teams participated in each edition of the competition. From 2005 to 2007, 8 clubs were placed into two groups of 4 teams. The winners and runners up would advance to the semi-final stage. All the matches were held in a single host country. From 2008 to 2010, the tournament was increased to 11 clubs. 2021–22 Pakistan Premier League
2021 Pakistan Premier League (2021 PPL) is the 62nd season of Pakistani domestic football and the 13th season of Pakistan Premier League. Suspension On 27 March 2021, the PFF's office was attacked by its former president, Syed Ashfaq Hussain Shah and his group, and the ongoing women's championship was cancelled. Major clubs protested: Diya W.F.C. announced following: ''"...laws laid down by FIFA, PFF NC and the AFC..."'', Mohsin Gillani W.F.C. announced it pulled out and Karachi United condemned actions taken against the NC and stated to be ''fully and respectfully supportive of following due process as per FIFA directives.''
