The Hum Honorary Phenomenal Serial Award is given by the Hum Network Limited#Board of Directors, Board of Directors of the Hum Television Network and Entertainment Channel (HTNEC) to the Hum TV, Hum Television Network most Television criticism, critically acclaimed and Cult following, cult followed drama, drama serial of the year. The recipients of this award are usually directors, producers, writers, main cast and technical crew of the production. Hum Network Limited or Hum TV Network Limited ( ur, ہم نیٹ ورک) is a Pakistani media company based in Karachi, Pakistan. It was established in February 2004 by Sultana Siddiqui. It is a current member of Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (APBU), Association for International Broadcasting (AIB), and Commonwealth Broadcasting Association (CBA). History Hum Network Limited was established in February 2004 with the name of Eye TV Limited which was later changed to Eye Television Network Limited on 18 November 2004. The present name, Hum Network, was adopted on 21 January 2011. Company is registered with Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority in October 2004 to operate its first satellite channel Hum TV which went live in January 2005. Hum Awards are annual Pakistani accolades bestowed by the Hum Network Limited in recognition of excellence in programming of television, fashion and music industry of Pakistan. Dawn News
Dawn News is one of Pakistan's 24-hour Urdu news channel. Based in Karachi, the station is a subsidiary of Pakistan Herald Publications Limited (PHPL), Pakistan's largest English-language media group. The test transmission of the station occurred on 25 May 2007, and the channel went live on 23 July 2007. Originally broadcast in English, on 15 May 2010, Dawn News converted into an Urdu news channel after successful test transmission of four hours a day. Naseer Turabi
Naseer Turabi ( ur, نصير ترابی; 15 June 1945 – 10 January 2021) was a Pakistani poet. Playback singer Ahmed Rushdi played significant role in his success and also helped popularize his ghazals. Biography His father, Allama Rasheed Turabi, was a religious scholar. He came to Pakistan after the independence of Pakistan in 1947. He did his M.A. in Mass Communications from University of Karachi in 1968. He lived in Karachi. He began writing poetry in 1962. His first collection of Poetry ''Aks-e-Faryadi'' was published in 2000. Pakistan's singer Abida Parveen provides vocal rendering for his poem of ''Woh hamsafar tha''. Waqar Ali (Urdu: وقار علی) is a Pakistani musician and singer working mostly in Pakistan. Ali has produced many albums and singles for the Pakistan film industry. Quratulain Balouch ( ur, ) is a Pakistani American singer-songwriter. Also known as QB or the Humsafar Girl, she became popular for her title track " Woh Humsafar Tha" in Hum TV's serial '' Humsafar''. Career Balouch has no formal music education.
