Hulleah J. Tsinhnahjinnie (born 1954) is a Seminole-Muscogee-Navajo photographer, museum director, curator, and professor. She is living in Davis, California. She serves as the director of the C.N. Gorman Museum and teaches at University of California, Davis. Early life and education Hulleah J. Tsinhnahjinnie was born into the Bear Clan (Taskigi) of the Seminole Nation and born for the Tsi'naajínii Clan of the Navajo Nation. Fritz William Scholder V (October 6, 1937 – February 10, 2005) was a Native American artist. Scholder was an enrolled member of the La Jolla Band of Luiseno Indians, a federally recognized tribe of Luiseños, a California Mission tribe. Scholder's most influential works were post-modern in sensibility and somewhat Pop Art in execution as he sought to deconstruct the mythos of the American Indian. A teacher at the Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) in Santa Fe in the late 1960s, Scholder influenced a generation of Native American students. Early life and education Fritz Scholder was born October 6, 1937 in Breckenridge, Minnesota. Linda Lomahaftewa (born 1947) is a Hopi and Choctaw printmaker, painter, and educator living in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Background Linda J. Lomahaftewa was born July 3, 1947 in Phoenix, Arizona. Her late father was Hopi; her mother is Choctaw from Oklahoma. Her parents had met at an Indian boarding school. She and her family lived in Phoenix and Los Angeles, California. She attended a strict mission boarding school in 1961 but transferred to Phoenix Indian School, then the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1962, the year the school opened. FotoArtFestival is an international art photography ''biennale'' organized since 2005 in October in Bielsko-Biała, Poland, by the Centre for Photography Foundation. It is one of the most important events in the field of photography in Poland. Details During each festival there are organised several solo exhibitions which last two weeks.
