Hugo Stiglitz
Hugo Stiglitz López, better known simply as Hugo Stiglitz, (born August 28, 1940, in Mexico City) is a Mexican actor. Stiglitz is perhaps most well known for his film roles in the 1970s and 1980s in Mexico in such horror films as '' Tintorera'' and '' Night of a 1000 Cats''. He also filmed several movies in Hollywood (''Under the Volcano'') and Italy (''Nightmare City''). Quentin Tarantino paid a tribute to him by naming a character "Hugo Stiglitz" (played by actor Til Schweiger) in the film ''Inglourious Basterds''. Along the way, they discover a doll floating in the water, which Diana Marvin—the family's youngest daughter—takes as her own. Diana appears to become possessed by the doll, and starts saying that everyone will die, and telling people the order they will die in. ''El valle de los miserables'' (English: ''The valley of the miserable'') is a 1975 Mexican drama film. Based in the novel ''El Valle Nacional'' by Enrique Albuerne. Synopsis In 1909, the former Judge Cristobal Zamarripa Zamarripa is the owner of the Valle Nacional, the a plantation where snuff exploits workers, supported by the tyrant Porfirio Díaz, who sends political prisoners as slaves. Others are engaged with the promise of high wages, but end up owing all to the company store. All are tortured, raped or killed when they protest. Another rancher (whose brother was killed by Zamarripa), will be punished, but flees and becomes revolutionary.
