Hughes Stadium (Morgan State)
Hughes Stadium, also known as The Den, is a multi-purpose stadium in Baltimore, Maryland. It is primarily used for football and is home of the Morgan State Bears. The stadium opened in 1937 and currently has a capacity of 10,001. Hughes Stadium features two separate seating structures behind both sidelines. Morgan State University
Morgan State University (Morgan State or MSU) is a public historically black research university in Baltimore, Maryland. It is the largest of Maryland's historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs). In 1867, the university, then known as the Centenary Biblical Institute, changed its name to Morgan College to honor Reverend Lyttleton Morgan, the first chairman of its board of trustees and a land donor to the college. It became a university in 1975. Morgan State is a member of Thurgood Marshall College Fund. Although a public institution, Morgan State is not part of the University System of Maryland.
