Hugh O'Neill (Canadian Football)
Hugh O'Neill (born January 20, 1990) is a professional Canadian football punter and placekicker for the Edmonton Elks of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was originally drafted 11th overall by the BC Lions in the 2011 CFL Draft and spent parts of three seasons with the team. He has also been a member of the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He played CIS football with the Alberta Golden Bears. U Sports (stylized as U SPORTS) is the national sport governing body of university sport in Canada, comprising the majority of degree-granting universities in the country. 2020 CFL Season
The 2020 CFL season would have been the 67th season of modern-day Canadian football. Officially, it would have been the 63rd season of the Canadian Football League. It was originally scheduled to begin on June 11; on April 7, the start of the season was delayed to begin no sooner than July due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada. The CFL planned to obtain financial assistance from the federal government. In May, the CFL delayed the season to no sooner than September, and announced that the Grey Cup was to be played as a home advantage game rather than as a neutral site game in Regina, Saskatchewan, as originally planned. Christopher Milo
Christopher Milo (born November 2, 1986) is a former professional Canadian football placekicker. He was drafted 30th overall by the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the 2011 CFL Draft and signed with the team on June 1, 2011. He played CIS football for the Laval Rouge et Or. During his college career, Milo won the Vanier Cup twice and he has helped the Roughriders and Ottawa Redblacks both win a Grey Cup in the CFL. Sean Whyte (born October 23, 1985) is a professional Canadian football placekicker for the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Amateur career Whyte played college football for the Santa Monica Corsairs and Canadian Junior College Football for the Big Kahuna Rams. He finished his junior eligibility with the Rams in 2007 where he was also named to the All-Canadian Offensive Team as a placekicker. The Eskimos successfully improved upon their 4–14 record from 2013 after earning their fifth win in their sixth game. Grant Shaw
Grant Shaw (born August 3, 1984) is a professional Canadian football placekicker and punter who is currently a free agent. He was drafted eleventh overall by the Toronto Argonauts in the 2010 CFL Draft and signed with the team on May 22, 2010. He played college football for the Saskatchewan Huskies football team, where he was named a Canada West All-Star for playing defensive back in 2009. The Edmonton Elks are a professional Canadian football team based in Edmonton, Alberta.
