Huggy Rao
Hayagreeva "Huggy" Rao (born 27 April 1959) is an American academic. He is the Atholl McBean Professor of Organizational Behavior and Human Resources at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Early life Rao was born in India. Rao graduated from the Andhra University in 1978 and earned Post-Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from XLRI, Jamshedpur in 1980. He then earned a PhD in 1989 from Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University. Career Rao was an assistant professor of Organization & Management at the Emory University's Goizueta Business School from 1989 to 1994, then associate professor from 1995 to 2002 and then tenured professor from 2000 to 2002. He then moved to Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University where he was the Richard L.Thomas Distinguished Professor of Leadership and Organizational Change from 2002 to 2005. ''The Washington Post'' (also known as the ''Post'' and, informally, ''WaPo'') is an American daily newspaper published in Washington, D.C. The Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences (CASBS) is an interdisciplinary research lab at Stanford University that offers a residential postdoctoral fellowship program for scientists and scholars studying "the five core social and behavioral disciplines of anthropology, economics, political science, psychology, and sociology". The American Sociological Association (ASA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the discipline and profession of sociology.
