Huari Province
The Huari Province is one of twenty provinces of the Ancash Region in Peru. Its seat is Huari. Geography The Cordillera Blanca traverses the western part of the province. Some of the highest peaks of the province are Rurichinchay and Wantsan. Other mountains are listed below: Political division Huari is divided into sixteen districts, which are: * Anra * Cajay * Chavín de Huantar * Huacachi * Huacchis * Huachis * Huantar * Huari * Masin * Paucas * Ponto * Rahuapampa * Rapayan * San Marcos * San Pedro de Chana * Uco Ethnic groups The people in the province are mainly indigenous citizens of Quechua descent. Quechua is the language which the majority of the population (78.05%) learnt to speak in childhood, 21.49% of the residents started speaking using the Spanish language ( 2007 Peru Census). Provinces Of Peru
The provinces of Peru () are the second-level administrative subdivisions of the country. They are divided into Districts of Peru, districts ( es, distritos, links=no). There are 196 provinces in Peru, grouped into 25 Regions of Peru, regions, except for Lima Province which does not belong to any region. This makes an average of seven provinces per region. The region with the fewest provinces is Callao (one) and the region with the most is Ancash Region, Ancash (twenty). While provinces in the sparsely populated Amazon rain forest of eastern Peru tend to be larger, there is a large concentration of them in the north-central area of the country. The province with the fewest districts is Purús Province, with just one district. The province with the most districts is Lima Province, with 43 districts. Qaqapampa

Qaqa Mach'ay (Ancash-Huánuco)
Qaqa Mach'ay (Quechua for "rock cave") is a limestone cave located in the Yauyos Province of the Lima Region in central Peru, high in the Andes Mountains that was explored and surveyed in 2004 by an international expedition. At 4,930m above sea level, it is the highest surveyed cave in the world. The entrance to the cave is in the mountain named Wamp'una. Cave description "It is thought that Qaqa Mach'ay is an abandoned glacial sink formed on a geologically-favourable bedding plane. Its enormous entrance, approximately fifty metres long, thirty metres wide and fifty metres deep, leads to a square-shaped descending passage twenty metres high and twenty metres wide.
