Huang Erh-hsuan
Huang Erh-hsuan (; 5 March 1936 – 9 February 2019) was a Taiwanese politician. He served in the Legislative Yuan from 1993 to 2002. Education and early career Huang earned a Ph.D from National Chengchi University after completing a bachelor's degree from National Taiwan University. He later taught at NCCU, Soochow University (Taiwan), Soochow University and National Chung Hsing University. Huang wrote for the ''Independence Evening Post'' and published ''CommonWealth Magazine''. Political career Huang was a member of the Democratic Progressive Party's New Tide faction, and was the party's first secretary general between 1986 and 1988. He was elected to three terms on the Legislative Yuan via party list proportional representation from 1993 to 2002. Upon stepping down from the legislature, Huang was named the president of a Pan-Green Internet radio station hosted at TaiwaneseVoice.net. National Chung Hsing University (NCHU; ) is a research-led comprehensive university in South District, Taichung, Republic of China. Currently, NCHU is among the four universities of the Taiwan Comprehensive University System, a research-led university alliance in Taiwan. History The university was originally founded as Advanced Academy of Agronomy and Forestry in Tainan in 1919. In 1928, the academy became a department affiliated to Taihoku Imperial University. Transitional Justice Commission
The Transitional Justice Commission (TJC; ) was an independent government agency of the Republic of China (Taiwan) active from 31 May 2018 to 30 May 2022 based on the Act on Promoting Transitional Justice. The commission is responsible for the investigation of actions taken by the Kuomintang between 15 August 1945 and 6 November 1992. The commission's main aims include: making political archives more readily available, removing authoritarian symbols, redressing judicial injustice, and producing a report on the history of the period which delineates steps to further promote transitional justice.
