Hrvoje Vlašić
Hrvoje Vlašić (born July 16, 1969) is a Croatian professional basketball coach for HKK Posušje, who play in the Basketball Championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Coaching career In the beginning of his coaching career Vlašić worked with teams from Croatia such as Dubrava and Kvarner, and from Bosnia and Herzegovina such as Posušje, Široki Eronet and Čapljina Lasta. During 2004–05 season, he coached Šibenka Dalmare in their only Adriatic League season in the history. On November 28, 2011, Vlašić became the head coach of the Šibenik-based team Jolly Jadranska Banka. On February 4, 2013, he was fired by the Jolly Šibenik. On August 23, 2013, he was hired to be the head coach of the Zadar. It was his second term as Zadar head coach. Also, he briefly coached Zadar's team during 2001–02 season. The Basketball Championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina is the top–tier men's professional basketball league in Bosnia and Herzegovina for men and women, respectively. The league is operated by the Basketball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Competition format The league is composed of 12 teams, each playing against the other eleven two times, home and away. After this portion concludes, the top six clubs are joined by the country's representatives in the Adriatic League, and enter "League 6". The best of these four teams go to the playoffs, and in the final best-of-five series, the Bosnian champion is crowned. The 2017–18 Basketball Championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina is the 17th season of this championship, with 12 teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina participating in it. Igokea, the defending champion, will join the tournament directly in the second stage. The competition will start on 14 October 2017 and will end on 12, 16 or 19 May 2018 depending on the number of matches played in the finals. Competition format Twelve teams would join the regular season, where the first five teams qualified for the Liga 6 with Igokea, that plays the season's ABA League First Division. 2004–05 ABA Goodyear League
Adriatic League expanded from 14 to 16 teams before the 2004–05 season. It was the second time since the inaugural 2001-02 that the competition expanded its number of teams. 16 teams from Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro participated in Goodyear League in its fourth season: Union Olimpija, Helios, Pivovarna Laško, Geoplin Slovan, Cibona VIP, Zadar, Zagreb, Split Croatia Osiguranje, Šibenka Dalmare, Široki Hercegtisak, Bosna ASA BH TELECOM, Crvena zvezda, Partizan Pivara MB, Hemofarm, Reflex, Budućnost. HKK Zrinjski Mostar ( hr, Hrvatski košarkaški klub Zrinjski Mostar, en, Croat Basketball Club Zrinjski Mostar) is a basketball team from the city of Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The club plays in the Basketball Championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina. History The club is part of the Zrinjski Mostar sport society. Since the national championship was formed in 1997, it has spent all but two seasons in the top league: the inaugural season and the 2003–04 season. For the 2003–04 season, Zrinjski was relegated to the regional Croatian league, but bounced back the following year to return to the top level of play.
