Hristo Ivanov (born 1974)
Hristo Lyubomirov Ivanov ( bg, Христо Любомиров Иванов; born 13 September 1974) is a Bulgarian politician and lawyer. He served as Minister of Justice in the Second Borisov Government, Second Borisov Cabinet before resigning on 9 December 2015. He also served as deputy prime minister and justice minister in the caretaker government of Georgi Bliznashki between 6 August and 7 November 2014. In early 2017 he founded the Yes, Bulgaria! political party whose priorities include institutional reforms, including a reform of the justice system, and anti-corruption efforts. Education Ivanov has a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the University of Sofia (St. Kliment Ohridski). He has specialized in US National Security Law and Judicial Appointments Procedures at the American University's Washington College of Law through the Fulbright/Hubert Humphrey Fellowship Program.
