Colts Neck Township is a township in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. It is located in the New York Metropolitan Area. As of the 2020 United States Census, the population was 9,957, down from the 10,142 counted in the 2010 census, in turn a decline of 2,189 (−17.8%) from the 12,331 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 3,772 (+44.1%) from the 8,559 counted in the 1990 Census. Colts Neck High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school located in Colts Neck Township, in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States, serving students in ninth through twelfth grades and operating as one of the six secondary schools of the Freehold Regional High School District.
