Howbury Grange
Howbury Grange was a women's football team which won the Women's FA Cup. The team was founded in 1981, in Bexley, by Jane Hardman-Brown, a sports teacher, and named for a school at which she had taught. In 1983, it won the Home Counties League Division 2. The following season, it was captained by Debbie Bampton, whose father, Albert Bampton, became the manager. It reached the final of the 1984 Women's FA Cup, but its opponents, the Doncaster Belles Doncaster Rovers Belles Ladies Football Club, previously Doncaster Belles, is an English women's football club that currently plays in the , the fourth tier of women's football in England. The Women's FA Challenge Cup Competition is the top annual cup tournament for women's clubs in English football. Founded in 1970, it has been named the WFA Cup, FA Women's Cup and now Women's FA Cup (Vitality Women's FA Cup for sponsorship reasons). Designed as an equivalent to the FA Cup in men's football, the competition began in 1970–71 as the Mitre Challenge Trophy, organised by the Women's Football Association (WFA). Bexley
Bexley is an area of south-eastern Greater London, England and part of the London Borough of Bexley. Home Counties League
The Home Counties League was a women's football league which was the highest level of play for teams in South East England. The league was established in 1970, on the initiative of the Amersham Angels team, which left the South East of England League. Other founding members included the Crystal Palace, Queen's Park Rangers, and Swindon Spitfires Women. Reading Ladies and Red Star Southampton joined for the 1971/72 season, with Southampton becoming the league's dominant team, its main challenger in the early years being Thame Ladies. In later years, Southampton moved to the Southern Regions League, and Friends of Fulham became a leading club in the league, winning the Home Counties League Cup on six consecutive occasions. Debbie Bampton
Deborah Bampton, Order of the British Empire, MBE, (born 7 October 1961) is an English former international association football, footballer who played as a midfielder. During her career Bampton won a treble at Arsenal W.F.C., Arsenal and two doubles with Charlton Athletic L.F.C., Croydon. She also was capped a sum of 95 times for England, scoring seven goals all in all. Bampton was appointed an MBE in 1998 Birthday Honours, 1998 as a recognition of her services to women's football. She also went on to be inducted into the English Football Hall of Fame in 2005. Club career Bampton began her career at the age of 14. She played for Lowestoft Ladies F.C., the team winning the Women's FA Cup in 1928, although Bampton missed the final due to injury. Yvonne Baldeo is an English former professional footballer. She played for A.C.F. Milan and Millwall Lionesses L.F.C..
