Howard Payne Yellow Jackets Football
The Howard Payne Yellow Jackets football team represents Howard Payne University in college football at the NCAA Division III level. The Yellow Jackets are members of the American Southwest Conference (ASC), fielding its team in the ASC since 1996. Kevin Bachtel
Kevin Bachtel is an American college football coach. He is the head football coach for Howard Payne University; a position he has held since 2023. He was the head football coach for Edgewood High School from 2016 to 2020. He also coached for Wills Point High School and Grand Saline High School. Personal life Bachtel's brother, Jason Bachtel, Jason, was the head football coach for Howard Payne University as Kevin was his successor.
