''House No. 13'' is a 1991 Bollywood horror film starring Salim Fateh, Anil Dhawan, Rita Bhaduri & Sharat Saxena. The film was a remake of Tamil film ''Pathimoonam Number Veedu'' (1990). Plot The movie begins as a couple reach a house named House No. 13. And as soon as they enter the house, a series of mysterious events begins revolving around them and every member of the family gets killed by an unknown spirit of a lady. ''Pathimoonam Number Veedu'', also known as ''13am Number Veedu'', is a 1990 Tamil-language horror film directed by Baby. The film stars Nizhalgal Ravi, Sadhana and Lalitha Kumari. It was released on 15 June 1990 and became a success. The film was remade in Hindi as '' House No. 13'' (1991) directed by Baby. Plot Selvam (Nizhalgal Ravi), an estate manager, and his family move into a new house based in a remote village. There, Selvam falls in love with Annam ( Sadhana), a jolly village girl. Disturbed by a ghost (Lalitha Kumari), Selvam's grandfather dies from a heart attack. One day, Murali (Jaishankar), Selvam's brother, goes to an isolated home and treats an old lady. The next day, he realizes that the old lady was a ghost and he also dies from a heart attack. The family, in mourning, decides to arrange Selvam's wedding with Annam to forget this tragedy. Anil Dhawan
Anil Dhawan is an Indian actor who appears in Hindi films and television. He made his acting debut with the film ''Chetna'' (1970) followed by ''Piya Ka Ghar'' (1971). He is also known for his 2018 film Andhadhun. Now turned activist, Dhawan was part of Anna Hazare camp in his crusade against corruption in Indian public life. Early life Dhawan belongs to Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. His father, Madan Lal Dhawan, was AGM in UCO Bank, who came to India from Peshawar, Pakistan in around 1947. Anil did his high school from St. Francis Xavier's School, Kanpur and graduated from Christ Church College, Kanpur. Vinod Rathod (born 12 September 1962) is an Indian playback singer who primarily sings in Bollywood films. Rathod is the son of late classical musician, Pandit Chaturbhuj Rathod. Music career His career started when Usha Khanna after listening to his voice in a cassette called him in April 1986, to sing a qawwali, "Mere Dil Main Hai Andhera, Koi Shamma To Jala De" in Do Yaar.
